gforce01Jerry Bruckheimer’s first foray into 3-D will be quite the…guinea pig? Bad jokes aside, USA Today has the first look at Bruckheimer’s upcoming animated feature, G-Force. Directed by visual effects guru Hoyt Yeatman (who also worked with Bruckheimer on Crimson Tide, The Rock, Con-Air, Armageddon, and Kangaroo Jack), the story centers around an elite unit of government-trained spies who must stop an evil billionaire from taking over the world. Oh, and they’re guinea pigs. Featured voices include Sam Rockwell, Penelope Cruz, Tracy Morgan, Bill Nighy, Will Arnett, Steve Buscemi, Kelli Garner, and Nicolas Cage. Head on over to USA Today to see five images from the flick. The trailer will debut on December 29, and the film itself will open July 24, 2009.
