Michael Gambon, Leslie Bibb, Colm Meaney, and Theresa Randle have all come aboard F. Gary Gray’s Law Abiding Citizen.

The film follows a man who seeks vengeance when the killer who murdered his entire family is set free by a plea bargain arranged by the district attorney.

The four join Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx in the vigilante movie, which has had writers Sheldon Turner (The Longest Yard), Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium), David Ayer (Training Day), and Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) all work on the script at some point. This is either the best script in the world, or the worst we’ll ever see. But with a cast that includes King Leonidas, Ray Charles, Professor Dumbledore, oh-so-Popular Brooke McQueen, DEA Agent Duncan Malloy, and Michael Jordan’s wife from Space Jam, I’d say that this has at least promise.
