Some new images from Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus have surfaced online (though no one seems quite sure from where).

We got it from Cinematical who got it from CHUD who got it from a Johnny Depp blog who doesn’t mention where they got it, but they are watermarked by Quick Stop Entertainment. In any case, here they are below – character stills for some of the populace of Doctor Parnassus’s world:

The Johnny Depp blog also posted this picture, breaking down the different faces of Tony, the character played by a combination of 1.) Heath Ledger, 2.) Johnny Depp, 3.) Colin Farrell, and 4.) Jude Law:

The more I hear about this movie, the more I want to see it. Gilliam has gotten pretty out there in recent years, but at his best, he is un-paralleled in producing engrossing mind-fucks of a movie. Let’s hope Ledger’s last outing proves to be one deserving of his memory.
