Superbad and Adventureland director Greg Mottola is rounding up a great cast for his next film. Entitled Paul, the flick already stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as two British science fiction geeks who embark on a road trip to Area 51 after hitting up San Diego’s Comic-Con. Their conspiracy theory dreams come true when they encounter Paul, an escaped alien who enlists their help. Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Jane Lynch have now joined the cast of the comedy as well. Rogen will voice the titular alien, but it’s unclear what roles the other actors will fill.

Pegg and Frost wrote the script, which I’ve heard great things about. With a cast like this and a director like Mottola, this film is bound to be one of the highlights of next year. I’m looking forward to Paul.
