New HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Teaser
Warner Bros. has released a short teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It’s preceded by an introduction from both producer David Heyman and director David Yates (who also helmed Order of the Phoenix and The Half-Blood Prince), as well as some brief behind-the-scenes looks at the making-of for the last two films.

It’s unfortunately not in very good quality, but I suspect a HQ/HD version should hit soon.
I’ve been re-watching a few of the Harry Potters lately and it’s a really odd feeling, knowing that the theatrical series is finally coming to its close. We’ve literally watched the actors grow up over the past eight years, and as the movies have improved with each installment, I’m really starting to realize how much I’m going to miss this world. It’ll have been nearly a full decade since The Sorceror’s Stone was released by the time the last film comes out, and I hope the movies can come to as satisfying a conclusion as this series deserves. If the last two installments are any indication however, the end is in good hands with David Yates.
My personal favorite of the entire series is the fifth film, which is funny considering the fifth book is probably my least favorite, on account of Harry being a whiny emo bitch for most of the novel. He’s less so in the film, which I guess makes the story infinitely more enjoyable. Anyway, the final two installments are due out in November 2010 and July 2011, so keep those calendars marked!
