A new still and poster has debuted online for Tron Legacy over at UK site HeyUGuys. I believe this is our first official look at Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde in character, though I could be mistaken about that.

Now, you guys probably already know that we’re pretty excited about this one, especially after having seen some of the footage that has made its way online. The still and poster only reinforce what we’ve already seen; that is, Tron Legacy looks beautiful and exactly the way a Tron sequel (reboot?) should. It doesn’t hit until December 17 of 2010, but I’m already dreaming of 3D lightcycles and Jeff Bridges-related awesomeness.

TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Quorra (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
