Hop In The HOT TUB TIME MACHINE Trailer
MGM has released the trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine, the time travel buddy comedy starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke. The film follow four friends who find themselves transported to the past (I’ll let you guess their time-hopping vehicle of choice) after a hard night of drinking. Hilarity/shenanigans/life-altering epiphanies ensue.
The new trailer is a bit too tame for my tastes, and doesn’t live up to the hilarious teaser we saw a few months back. There are still a couple of funny moments, though, so I suggest you give it a watch. Robinson’s scenes do their best to keep this thing afloat, and it should attract at least some new interest. I’ll be waiting eagerly for the red-band trailer, though, which I’m sure will fully unleash the wild and vulgar comedy I’m convinced this film has. This green-band one just doesn’t do much for me.

The official synopsis goes like this:
Hot Tub Time Machine follows a group of best friends who’ve become bored with their adult lives: Adam (Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Corddry) is a party guy who can’t find the party; Nick’s (Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (Duke) won’t leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures – one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!
Directed by Accepted’s Steve Pink and written by Josh Heald and Sex Drive scribes Sean Anders and John Morris, Hot Tub Time Machine warps into theaters on March 19, 2010.
